Day #15 Pondering…

 

As I get settled in my new schedule, much has been on my mind.  I have been reminded of a story about a 3 leg stool that represents our life. When we don’t keep balance in our life the stool falls over. The stool can’t stand on 1 or 2 legs – it needs 3 legs of equal length to be balanced. My stool has been out of balance.  I have kind of let the spiritual side (or 1 leg of the stool) of my life go to the wayside. The photos below show my desire to get balance back in all aspects of my life. I especially like verse 5 in the top picture.

DAY #14

Thank You Jenn for the wonderful birthday present.  You know me so well.  I am so looking forward to using this.  I love the font as well as the CHERRIES.   The pictures lighting is off, but am not sure how to correct it to get rid of the glare.

 

 

Day #13

The pictures are to represent that I am tired.  Maybe this weekend I will be able to get some sleep. Am really enjoying the new job, but it is getting busier. Lots to learn.

Day #12

I am having a good week at work.  Settling in and starting to learn my new responsibilities.  In an attempt to look good I had to have my hair done.  It continues to slowly grow, but with that growth comes the beauty of gray, I have a very special friend who helps me look “good.” The pictures for today show the numerous beauty products it takes to make  me beautiful. Thanks to Melissa for always fitting me in –even when I forget my appointment.

Day 10

Leslee posting on her blog has inspired me to attempt to do a page layout entry for a My Mind’s Eye (MME) contest.  The layout except ribbon and bling are all MME – a combination of Wild Asparagus-“Boy oh Boy”, 29th St Market – “Mama curtain” , 29th St Market tags and Penny Lane – “Free Bird Peace.” Sorry the picture is a little off kilter. The lettering is cut from QuicKutz harvest alphabet.

Day 9

I feel like a kid on their first day of school….

New job………….what should I wear?  Didn’t buy a new outfit so will need to choose from  my closet.
